How did Tony start working at Buckeye Entertainment?

Tony’s actually one of our former grooms!  He had a history being around recording and live sound equipment, always with glamorous thoughts of becoming a DJ someday, but the opportunity never really presented itself until he met Byron.  He and his wife were married at our small event space and really hit it off with the guys. Soon he was hanging out with us after weddings, offering to come along to help out as a roadie.  Fast forward a few months and he was a regular part of the crew!  When we needed a new DJ, we knew Tony was the best person to ask.

But who is Tony?

He’s a homegrown Columbusite, graduating from CSCC and making his way around the music scene with several local bands. Initially pursuing a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, he quickly realized that wasn’t the life for him. Tony is a multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, bass, piano and drums; coming from a family of gospel singers he has quite the voice, too. Outside of music he enjoys all kinds of games, whether they involve cards, a controller or a board and pieces.

That’s great!  How does he feel about weddings?

“I’m a softy.  When I see the couple exchanging rings, kissing for the first time, It just reminds me of how lucky I am to have found that special person that completes me.  I feel like I know what they are feeling in that moment and that I can complement their day in an insightful way.”
