Buckeye Entertainment was incredible to work with. Figuring out the finer details of the ceremony and reception can seem so daunting -but Buckeye Entertainment made it so easy. The entire organization is so organized and keeps you on track. They had an online system with a questionnaire that ensured they knew how to make your day special. We had James as our DJ – and he was absolutely incredible. His passion for his job really shows. We had a lot of compliments from our guests about how wonderful the music was from start to finish. Would highly recommend Buckeye Entertainment!

Tell us a little about yourself! 

“I was born and raised in Columbus, OH. I graduated from Dublin Jerome and spent a few years in Brooklyn working on my clothing brand. Besides DJing I love fashion design and skateboarding!”

How did you start DJing?

“I actually grew up down the street from Byron, the owner of Buckeye Entertainment. I always wanted to be a DJ and work for Buckeye and once Byron thought I was ready he gave me a chance and I ran with it!”

Favorite Music?

“I like just about all genres of music but if you were to look at my Spotify playlists there would be a lot of 90’s hip-hop and alternative rock. “

Why weddings/what’s your favorite part about a wedding?

“Seeing people get stoked when I put on a banger! The electricity in the room when a dance floor is packed is amazing.”

Favorite part of working for Buckeye Entertainment?

“We take our job very seriously and try to handle as much for you as we possibly can so you can have the most stress-free experience possible. I’ve seen other DJs (not BE DJs) just care about what music they are playing. We care about the entire event from beginning to end.“
